How It All Began

With an interest in human emotion and art, I developed a passion for photography that couldn't be denied. I had a love of photography at a young age. I would spend countless hours photographing pretty places, or objects, or people. I waited eagerly for my film to be mailed back to me. When I finally learned to develop my own film it was like a whole new world opened up to me. I still love doing film shots. Although most of my work tends to be in digital.

When I began Digital Photography in college, it was amazing! I have never been more happy doing any other thing. Photography is in my blood, and apparently in my genes. My daughter often grabs my second camera and follows me to shoots and takes photos herself. Deciding on a career in photography was the easiest choice I have ever made, and I’ve never looked back.

As you can tell by my portfolio, I enjoy clean and clear images and I would love to capture some memories for you. I strive to make you as comfortable in front of the camera as possible. I focus on natural light photography and using the light to compliment the image. I enjoy working with families and capturing them in a natural environment.

Although my main focus is natural light, I do use studio lighting for my newborn sessions, cake smashes and when requested by my clients.
